<正> An Englishman on holiday in Cork went into a bar and over-heard an old man anda young chap talking.“That’s a fine hat you’ve got there,”said the old fellow.“Where did you buy it?”“I got it at O’Grady’s,”replied the young man.“Why,I go there myself,”said the man.“You must be from around these parts?”“That’s right,”came the reply.“I live in Connemara Street.”“That’s amazing,”said the old man.“E happen to live there, too.”At this point,the Englishman turned to the harman and said:“It’s a small world.Thosetwo over there live in the same street and have only just met.“Don’t yon believe it,”said the barman.“They’re father and son——but they’realways too drunk to recognize each other.”
