【正】 Development Programme of Fuel Gas Vehi-cles In some Cities (or Autonomous re-gions) Beijing: By the end of 1999, it is planned that 1,500 u-nits of in-use public transport vehicles will be modified and 1,300 units of dual-fuel public transport vehicles will be newly bought to reach a total amount of 2,800 units, of which 1,700 units are CNG (Compressed Nat-ural Gas) vehicles, and 1,100 are LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) vehicles. Also, 14,000 units of the in-use taxis will be modified. 11 CNG gas stations espe-cially for public transportation will be built up. 8 LPG
