英语构词中存在着一种语言现象,有的词具有两种不同的否定前缀,其词义有很大差异,记住这些具有双重否定前缀的词汇,将有助于语言运用能力的提高。1.disable vt.使无能力,使残废Tuberculosis disables him for hard work,so hewas arranged for cleaning the office.unable adj.不能够的 v.使无能The child is so little that he is unable to take careof himself.Mary is so unabled by diseases that she is confinedto the wheelchair.
