In 2001, the first year of 21 centery, the experimental activities of nuclear physics in IMP were still concentrated on the researches with radioactive ion beams. The total reaction cross sections of series of light exotic nuclei on Si have been measured by u sing the radioactive ion beams from RIBLL and the results show that some of them, for instance ~6He, ~8B, ~9C, ~(12)N, ~(23)Al, and ~(27)P have anomalously large value than that for
