摘要

Portable Document Format(PDF) is put forward by image manipulation software company Adobe. It′s developed from Page Description Language PS. And PDF has properties which make it more fitful for transporting on network Considering PS can export high quality page and its dominant status in press domain,converting PDF file to PS file is of significance. Since most popular e-journals are PDF files ,PostScript printer needs the ability of printing PDF files directly. This paper introduces PDF and the implementation of translating PDF into PS.
