摘要

Magnetic cores have been used in transformers for over a century. In this paper, the use of corelessPCB transformers for energy transfer is described. Coreless PCB transformers eliminate the magnetic cores andtheir limitations. The drastic reduction in the vertical dimension in coreless PCB transformers enables thesetransformers to have very high power density and offers a new technology for developing very low - profilepower coverters.
