Objective To discuss the treatment effects of medorba, bromocriptine and Chinese prescription on patients with persistent vegetative states. Methods To choose 30 cases of patients with persistent vegetative states , they were divided randomly into western medicine treating group (10 cases), Chinese and western medicine treating group (10 cases) and the control group(10 cases) . Results The total effective rate of the western medicine treating group was 40% ; that of the Chinese and western medicine treating group was 70% and the control Group was 20% , the three groups are significantly different in their effective rates . Conclusion Medorba, bromocriptine and Chinese prescription are notably effective on patients with persistent vegetative states.
