【正】 Fourthly, as for the auto consumption structure, the market is now dominated by individual users rather than institutional ones. Along with the improvement of the people’s living standard, the ratio of individual consumption has increased year by year. According to statistics, the private vehicle population in China in 1999 was 5.34 millions instead of 816,000 units in 1990, the annual increase was 23.2% on an average, which is much higher than the increase of vehicle population; the proportion of individual vehicles in the whole was 36.8% from 14.8%.
