<正> ZAOQIANG County was established during the early Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 23 AD), and named for its abundance of Chinese date trees. Its rich historical and cultural resources apart, Zaoqiang County is also a major base for farming, animal husbandry, and industry in Hebei Province.
