Since the design studies of solid tritium breeder blanket models have been performed by Japan and EUC, and their TBM design options for ITER have been proposed. In order to design our TBM blanket options with Chinese research bases and experiences, we chose liquid lithium or lithium-lead as the tritium breeding materials for our TBM blanket options.
