THE First Session of the lOth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) came to a successful conclusion on March 14, 2003. Ashe left the Great Hall of thePeople, CPPCC member Li Junrutold this reporter, “CPPCC members come from different parties,organizations, ethnic groups and circles, but we all share the same historic mission. When we meet toconsult, it is on the basis of pooling the wisdom of people from allwalks of life and deciding the bestway to build a welloff society.”
