【正】 On 7 July 2003, the delegation sent by the Nanjing Municipal Gov eminent to apply for the inclusion of the imperial tomb Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) on UNESCO’s World Heritage List (WHL) returned to Nanjing via Beijing on Air China flight No. 1562 with great joy over the success. When interviewed by the media at the airport, Xu Huiling, head of the delegation and Vice Mayor of the Nanjing Municipal Government, related some interesting stories behind the successful application.
