摘要

ZHANGJIAJIE in northwestern Hunan Province is known for its vast expanse of unique landscapes. It was included in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List in 1992 and selected as one of the first batch of Chinese national geological parks in 2001. In 2003, it was among the first batch of world geological parks.
