<正> TRADITIONAL Chinese painting is inspired by the imagery of Chinese poetry. Xiao Shu (1940- ) is an accomplished poet and painter. Adept at traditional calligraphy and seal cutting, his works combine poetry, calligraphy, painting and seal cutting. The poems he inscribes on his painted works endorse their themes.
