摘要

Since China hooked up to the Internet in 1994, Chinese netizenship has increased from the few hundreds of thousands recorded in 1995 to its present 87 million - second largest in the world. The Internet has streamlined daily life and also influenced life concepts. The voice of the“silent majority” now heard on the Internet, speaks of and searches for solutions to psychological problems exacerbated by a transitional society.
