After a seemingly normal Spring Festival, Cheng Xingfa folded the broad smile on his face and made a shocking announcement to his family. He said he would suspend his succession by his elder son and stay on to steer his private Xingfa Shipping Company into safer waters. “Not necessarily for bad, there will be changes in our lives，”said the 56-year-old private ship owner in Wanzhou, part of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
