Evening of Time, China’s first rock festival of the new year, catered to the country’s new youth.Held in Guangzhou from December 31st, 2003 to January 1st, 2004, this 10-hour music festival featured Cui Jian, the father of Chinese rock, Wang Lei, the guru of south China’s rock scene, and 10 or more other bands including Zuoxiao Zuzhou, Muma, the Painful Faith, the Second Hand Roses and the Sound Toy.
