To many Chinese enterprises, e-business hosting services - IT resource consolidation and automation - are still a relatively new concept. The general concern is one related to the security of data as companies outsource the manage-ment of their IT environment. Jim Corgel,general manager of IBM Global Services'e-business hosting services, admits that it takes education to convince the potential users of the value of hosting services. Here he shares his thoughts on this latest innovation with CIB.
