摘要

Journalistic English, one of the most important varieties of English, can be taken as the best integration of various means in reporting the news. With its distinctive features, journalistic English has established itself as a most popular genre in English. Well, interpretation has a long history, which can date back to the beginning of human society. During the development of human society, interpretation activity becomes as lubricating oil, which helps the whole society go forward. At the mean time, it also performances as catalyst in the activity of cross-nation or cross-culture communication. As our country developing, it becomes more active on the international platform, and plays a more important role in various area in the world, such as politics, economics, trade, sports, and so on, therefore build the country's good image is a most important task. Through journalistic English by the way of interpretation to show the development of our country to the world has become one of the significant means of modern communication to the outside world. This paper will begin its discussion by exploring the essential features of news, which will lead to the key discussion of the stylistic of journalistic English, and the features of its interpretation through some examples. It also promotes some qualities that the interpreters who do the related work should have. Such discussions may offer a deep impression to the journalistic English.
