摘要

The Yamzhog Yumco Lake is one of the three great holy lakes in Tibet. It is located in Nanggarze County in southern Tibet at an elevation of more than 4,400 meters. It covers some 800 square km and is the largest freshwater lake in the lake basin zone on the northern side of the Himalayas.
