<正>On February 9,1955,the State Council adopted the resolution on the Founding of the Preparatory Committee for the Founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region.A founding ceremony was held in Lhasa on April 22 the following year attended by a delegation sent by the Central Government.It was led by Vice Premier Chen Yi,with Zhang Jingwu and Wang Feng as its deputy heads.
