On July 10, the 51800 dwt product/chemical tanker developed, designed and built by China for navigating in icy areas was launched at Guangzhou Shipyard International. The tanker is scheduled for delivery at the end of this year. The second follow-on ship will soon be built on the berths. At present, Guangzhou Shipyard International has a backlog order of 11 such tankers.
