New Year's resolutions date back 4,000years.They started with the Babylonians(巴比伦人),a people of the Middle East,who livedroughly where Iraq is today.The Babylonianscelebrated their new year at the beginning ofspring.They had a festival in March thatlasted for 11 days.It was marked by theplanting of crops.After the festival ended,they often made vows to return all borrowedfarm equipment!
