<正>1 INTRODUCTION VDC technology for Bulk power transmission is increasingly being used in countries like India and China where energy resources are dispersed over large geographical area and major investments are planned for power systems development to cater to the increasing demand.Therefore,more than one HVDC converter station planned in the nearby vicinity or electrical area is expected to come up in the evolving power systems in these countries.
