<正>1 INTRODUCTION VDC technology for Bulk power transmission is increasingly being used in countries like India and China where energy resources are dispersed over large geographical area and major investments are planned for power systems development to cater to the increasing demand.Therefore,more than one HVDC converter station planned in the nearby vicinity or electrical area is expected to come up in the evolving power systems in these countries. For single converter configuration in the ac network,the sys- tem short circuit level and the corresponding Short circuit ratio is an indicator to the system planners regarding the expected interactions between the HVDC station and its connected AC system.In case of a multi-in feed HVDC situation,the analysis becomes more com- plicated as it is not strictly one ac/dc interface,but also a question of interaction amongst the HVDC links themselves.In a multi-in feed scheme with two or more HVDC inverters,the inverters shall
