Epichlorohydrin (ECH) is an important organic raw material. It is mainly used to produce epoxy resins and is also used in the production of synthetic glycerin, chlorohydrin rubber, wet strength agents for paper, glycidolethers, ion exchange resins, watertreatment chemicals and flame-retarding agents.
