<正>High Technology Guarantees Sunny OlympicsA squad of 170 technicians is working towards a sunny Olympics for 2008. The opening ceremony is in August–Bei-jing’s peak rainy season. Rain cloud-dispersing rockets will be sent up to avert showers, and satellite meteorological im-ages, currently projected hourly, will be observed at 30-minute intervals. Meteo-rological information from self-operating weather stations will be updated every five minutes, along with observation data on instances of lightning.
