Object Picture of Electromagnetic Quasinormal Ringing for a Stringy Black Hole

摘要

We investigate the evolution of an electromagnetic field in the spacetime of a stringy black hole. The object picture of the quasinormal ringing has been obtained by the finite difference method. Compared with a Schwarzschild black hole, the results show that the electromagnetic field damps more slowly for a stringy black hole.
