摘要

Typhoon " Meranti"(1010) is one of the rare offshore strengthened mini-typhoons,featured by heavy impacts,meandering moving route,small coverage,strong intensity and large difficulty in prediction and prevention.Therefore,the partial characteristics of such typhoon are analyzed in this paper and the discussions of location of the typhoon in offshore area by Doppler radar are the focus of this paper.
