摘要

The essential goal of that paper(Chin.Phys.Lett.26(2009)124211)was to obtain a 2-μm Tm:YAG laser with short pulse output.A Q-switched technique is used to realize the short pulse output in our laser systern.The idea presented by Dr.Nicolaie Pavel is right.In our work,the directly Q-switched 2-μm Tm:YAG pulse laser is not realized.As a matter of fact.the Q switch is used to directly switch the 1-μm Nd:YAG laser.
