摘要

On December 13,2006,the 61th UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.This is the first legally binding international instrument dedicated to the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities and the latest effort by the international community to protect and promote the human fights of persons with disabilities.The Convention clarifies the rights of persons with disabilities to participate in political,economic,social,cultural and civil life and stresses that all signatory parties have the obligation and duties to ensure that persons with disabilities really enjoy the same human rights,dignity and freedom as other people.
