摘要

<正>THE two centuries from the founding of the Wei Kingdom in 220 to the end of the Jin Dynasty in 420 were punctured by chronic wars and frequent regime changes. To stay out of the ugly and bloody political strife, philosophers of the time turned away from the brutality of politics and started exploring the ontological existence of the world, building on the cosmology of the previous Han Dynasty. Studies on the relationship between being (you) and nothingness (wu) flourished, becoming Neo-Daoism in the Wei-Jin Period.
