Introduction Arbitration in the People's Republic of China ( "PRC") is growing at a rapid rate.①Yet international parties,who are free to stipulate their choice of international arbitration institution in their commercial contracts,often shy away from Chinese institutions.②Instead they opt for regional bodies such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre ( "SIAC") ,or internationally recognized institutions such as the
