摘要

In 2011,China's shipbuilding industry continued to develop stably and rapidly by maintaining its confidence,making great efforts and overcoming all sorts of difficulties in a complicated and changing environment.All the economic indexes kept increasing,making a good beginning for the 12th five-year plan period.However,under the spell of the world economy recession and market downturn,the number of newbuilding orders dropped significantly and major economic indexes tended to fall back to low levels.The development of the industry was confronted with severe challenges.
