摘要

【问】【522]众所周知，too…to do sth．结构表示“太……以至于不能做某事”，但我在学习董亚芬教授主编的《大学英语精读2》第十单元课文Profits of Praise中的一句话时（…while most of us are only too ready to apply to others the cold wind of criticism，we are somehow reluctant to give our fellows the warm sunshine of praise）还是遇到了理解上的问题，
