摘要

Significance of continuing traditional space image in the renovation of ancient city was analyzed. Taking the renovation of ancient Changshu City for example, traditional spatial characteristics of the ancient city were summarized, and urban design techniques for continuing its space image were further explored. It was stressed that characteristic spatial structures should be continued, original spatial scales and ratios protected, so as to maintain integrality and unity of spatial interfaces.
