摘要

Although it has been widely applied in China,flower border has great development potentials,and it is significant for the construction of eco-city to explore favorable flower borders fit for China.On the basis of introducing classification and components of flower border,this paper discusses key points of flower border design from the perspectives of planar and three-dimensional layouts,seasonal aspect,color,background and edge decoration,and puts forward major problems in the current flower border application.More indigenous species should be introduced into flower border designs to present works characterized by"localization of plant application,diversified landscape expression,and intensive construction and management".
