摘要

Firstly,characteristics of coastal wind farms were analyzed,and then lightning damage to coastal wind farms was discussed,finally main lightning protection measures were put forward from aspects of turbine blades,engine rooms and overvoltage protection.Besides conventional lightning protection technology,local lightning protection,pre-discharge and lightning motoring and early warning techniques should be used to protect coastal wind farms against lightning.
