The Fabry-Pérot laser diode (FP-LD) with multiple longitudinal modes has attracted much attention owing to its rich nonlinear,low cost,compact size and low power consumption,which have already been applied in a frequency divider,[1] optical memory,[2] wavelength conversion,[3-5] chaos,[6] pulse generation,[7,8] millimeter-wave emission[9] and wavelength switching.
