摘要:
According to the second law of thermodynamics, all the flow and heat transfer processes undergo changes that are irreversible. These irreversible changes are mostly caused by the energy losses during the processes.Although measures can be taken to reduce these irreversible effects,it is impossible to recover all of the lost energy. This process causes the entropy of the system to increase.Due to this, the entropy generation rate is used as a standard metric to study the irreversibility effects. This method was proposed by Bejan.[1,2] Since then, extensive research has been made by scientists related to the entropy generation in the flow and heat transfer systems.
