摘要

At present,security of energy resources has been raising concerns widely as the development of new energy and technologies are bringing forth unprecedented opportunities as well as challenges for the power industries.Being the safeguard at the front line for the safety operation of power system,power system relay protection are experiencing rapid technology upgrade and constant innovations with grave responsibilities.From the major power grid blackouts worldwide,the power system stability and security are directly constrained by the relay theory and application level of power system relay devices,which may even play the major role causing the blackouts in some cases.In China,the strong and smart grid is still under fullscale construction.Thus the technologies of smart substation,protection and control for new energy resource,data processing,power system relay operation and device standardization are becoming hot topics of the area.
