Boundary properties,collage and collision time of Erguna and Xing’an block,and old crystal substrate of the blocks are basic geological scientific issues for studying the evolution of north Great Xing’an Range.This study reviewed researches on Erguna and Xing’an block in the past years,and summarized two major problems: one is collage and collision time of both blocks; the other is ancient crystal substrate of the blocks.The two problems are significant for understanding tectonic-magma evolution of the north Great Xing’an Range.
