摘要

By making use of narratological theories of Gerard Genette,especially in terms of anachrony,this thesis studies the seemingly chaotic but systematic anachrony in Slaughterhouse-Five.It means to show that the superficially chaotic structure and language of the novel are derived from the narrative techniques applied in Slaughterhouse-Five.
