摘要

The outstanding female protagonist Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with the Wind is full of conflicting and complicated features, who is the daughter of a rich plantation owner. Based on the background of American Civil War, this novel depicts Scarlett’s love tragedy with the clue of the triangular love between Scarlett, Ashley and Rhett.
