摘要

Founded in 1907, Budapest Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest of its kind in Hungary. It became well-known through radio broadcasts in the 1920s. Andras Keller was appointed as conductor and artistic director of the orchestra in 2007 when it celebrated its centennial. Keller＇s leadership further consolidates the orchestra＇s status as one of the national leading orchestras.
