摘要

Kuwait established a political relationship with China in 1971,the first country in the Gulf region to do so.The Kuwait-China relationship saw substantial progress when Kuwait's foreign policystarted to give more importance to the East after the liberation of Kuwait in 1991, and it gained impetus with the onset of the global economic crisis in 2008.In this article, the author tries to describe the significance of the Kuwait-China relations built on the five pillars of cooperation and provide her views on the future prospects for relations between the two countries.
