In the 10-year period from 2004 when former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was first elected to 2014 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office, India's foreign policy changed significantlyand became increasingly assertive.Since 2004, both China and India havealso grown considerably in national power.
