摘要

Public signs have the functions of prompting,directing,restricting and compelling people’s behaviors in public.Thoughexperts and government have done a lot to improve and regulate tourism public signs translation,there still exist many problems re-flecting in linguistic translation errors,pragmatic translation errors and cultural translation errors.In the light of Skopostheorie,thetranslation purpose justifies the translation process and translation methods according to its purpose and function.So translatorscan flexibly adopt some methods such as literal translation,liberal translation,additional translation,omission and analogy to guidetourism public signs translation.
