摘要:
Oil prices fell in April but not nearly as much as many expected after major crude producers failed to reach an agreement to freeze production. The slip in crude prices was because market participants realized that the plan debated among members and non-members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) was basically meaningless, said Vandana Hari,Asia editorial director for Platts,an energy-information provider that is a unit of McGraw Hill Financial. The long awaited oil output freeze deal in Doha did not materialize in mid April after Saudi Arabia demanded Iran take part in the agreement.
