摘要

During his visit to Central Asian and Southeast Asian countries in September and October 2013,Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed major initiatives to make joint efforts to build the "Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB)" and the "21 st Century Maritime Silk Road (MSR)".With the historical imprint of the Silk Road and through the comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with the characteristics of the new era,the Belt and Road strategy will endow the ancient Silk Road with new connotation of the timesenhancing the policy coordination,facilities connectivity,unimpeded trade,financial integration and peopleto-people bonds (five enabling factors)with and between the countries along the Belt and Road.
