摘要:
Since the beginning of the North Korean nuclear issue,it has become an important factor affecting the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula. In recent years, the issue has become a matter of global concern because of the failure to achieve any resolution and the subsequent deterioration of the problem. The initial momentum achieved by the Six-Party Talks has ground to a halt for nearly a decade, demonstrating that while the principles of the Six-Party Talks for the denuclearization of the Peninsula and for regional peace and stability are recognized to varying degrees by all the parties, the differences are significant, particularly with regard to conditions for restarting the talks.Perceptions of other parties' intentions are prevalently negative and basis for mutual trust is seriously lacking.
